The G-Class engines combine tremendous power with improved fuel economy and reduced emissions. The V6 diesel engine in the G 350 BlueTEC, for example, develops 155 kW and has a top speed of 175 km/h. Its maximum torque rating of 540 Nm is developed at 1600 rpm and remains constant to 2400 rpm. The G 350 BlueTEC delivers this power to the road via the 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission.
Featuring enhanced low-emission BlueTEC technology, the new G 350 BlueTEC delivers 155 kW of power. BlueTEC catalytic converter technology uses the urea solution AdBlue® for exhaust gas after-treatment, making it an exceptionally clean diesel system. AdBlue® can now be added externally (in the same way as fuel), even when driving off-road.
Boasting exemplary emission figures, low fuel consumption, superior performance and a high torque rating of 540 Nm, the G 350 BlueTEC leads by example.
The G 55 AMG also delivers impressive technical data. The 5.5 litre V8 supercharged engine develops 373 kW of power and a maximum torque rating of 700 Nm. Its looks are also a thrilling proposition, thanks to AMG 5-spoke alloy wheels finished in titanium grey, 275/55 R19 tyres, body-coloured flared wheel arches, an AMG exhaust system with twin side-exiting tailpipes, a radiator grille with chrome highlights and trim strips in brushed aluminium with AMG logo. The G 55 AMG suspension has been configured for dynamic handling with extra stiff shock absorbers – without restricting the vehicle’s off-road capabilities.
