Three BlueEFFICIENCY models are available for the new CLS, featuring environmentally compatible technologies and extensive special measures.

Efficiency technologies in the new CLS Coupé

The latest-generation CDI diesel engine combines irresistible performance characteristics with low consumption. Injection pressure has been increased, smoothness of operation enhanced and noise levels optimised – while reduced compression makes for lower emission levels.

Direct injection, increased compression and a new air and exhaust system for the new V6 petrol engine generation BlueDIRECT deliver outstanding torque, output and noise reduction figures. Innovative engine technology has significantly reduced emissions and fuel consumption compared with previous models.
